The Elhuyar Foundation organises the Teknoskopioa competition every year to coincide with the Science Week.
Teknoskopioa sets research, inventive or creative work for the youngsters: it aims to bring today’s local research, development and innovation closer to young people
The Teknoskopioa ideas competition is mainly for girls and boys between the ages of fourteen and eighteen; in other words for students in the 3rd and 4th levels of Statutory Secondary Education and in the 1st and 2nd years of the 6th Form; it is also for those doing high school level cycles. Students can take part in the competition individually or in groups (in any case a maximum of three people for each blog).
Although it is an initiative mainly for young people, we organisers believe that it can be of use for teachers in some branches of education too, as it is a suitable tool enabling students to work on a range of skills indirectly.
