The Teknopolis TV programme
The Teknopolis TV programme was broadcast for the first time in February 1999. It is a programme for the general public and its aim is as follows: to inform about science, technology and innovation in the Basque Country and worldwide.
This 30-minute programme is made up of features, interviews, current news, basic science, etc. It is lively, enjoyable and entertaining. It is broadcast in Basque and in Spanish on the three channels of the ETB-Euskal Telebista (the Basque Autonomous Community’s TV broadcasting corporation). Its team comprises eight scientists and journalists; it has a weekly audience of about 60,000 people.
