CAF-Elhuyar awards
The CAF-Elhuyar Award was set up on the initiative of the company CAF and Elhuyar in 1994. The awards were instituted to popularise science subjects in Basque and to encourage new writers.
As the communication of science is one of the aims of the Elhuyar Foundation, the awards set out to promote the spreading of science and technology subjects in Basque.
Categories of the CAF-Elhuyar Awards are as follows:
- Popularisation Articles:
- Works to Popularise Theses 2.000 €
- General Popularisation Articles 2.000 €
- Science Narrative Books for Young People 5.000 €
- Works of Science Journalism 2.000 €
