Competitions
Basque Research Thesis award
The Basque Research Thesis Award was set up in 2003 to make the work of young Basque researchers known. Since then works of popularisation by a number of researchers who have recently finished their PhD theses are entered for the competitions and made known to the public. Through the call for applications, an opportunity is provided to find out what the research being done in the Basque Country’s universities is about.
The Basque Research Thesis Awards have been taken over by the new CAF-Elhuyar Awards this year, 2009. The aim of the Caf-Elhuyar Awards is to popularise these theses.
