About us

Elhuyar’s lexicography Database (ElhDB) runs on Oracle 8i. The ElhDB is a multi-lingual database and right now brings together all Elhuyar’s lexicographic dictionaries.
The terminological dictionaries are in the terminological database designed by Elhuyar. This database is organised terminologically and has over 30,000 concept entries.
We also have a multilingual database of names containing 8,425 entries. It has place names, personal names, historical events and works of art, pertaining to the Basque Country and beyond. In the entries that do not pertain to the Basque Country, the names are also included in English, Spanish and French.
