CorpEus 

Aims and general description

A tool for querying and exploiting the Internet as a Basque corpus

The Internet is a vast corpus, infinitely bigger that any existing corpus in Basque. Its content is continually updated and expanded, so it is possible to query the latest words

• It has a lemmatised search.
• It provides results exclusively in Basque.
• It handles ambiguities, unknown words, variants and corrections.
• It was developed by the R+D+Innovation group with the help of the IXA Group of the UPV-EHU (University of the Basque Country).
• Presented at the WAC3 - Web as Corpus Workshop (Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, 15-16/09/2007)
